Post GAP and Old Navy Blank T-Shirts Wholesale at staton

I was just browsing for some plus size t-shirts and I noticed that in the STATON - www.statononline.com catalog, they have GAP and Old Navy blank t-shirts available for wholesale purchases.

ON50 Old Navy Classic T
  • 6.5 oz. 100% cotton that's remarkably soft
  • Short sleeves
  • Rib-knit crewneck with contrasting stitching for added style
  • Machine wash. Imported
  • (mfg.style #307919)
GP50 Gap Classic T
  • 7.5 oz 100% cotton, pre-washed for softness
  • Machine wash. Imported
  • (mfg.style #307370)
Both go up to 4XL. They have other GAP/Old Navy styles available as well (long sleeve, ladies, ringers, etc)

Thought it might be worth posting for those looking for the same type feel as big name stores.

And no, we're not going to post the wholesale pricing here in the forums out of respect for the distributors. If you need pricing, just head over the www.statononline.com and setup an account

I don't know exactly, but they are official GAP and OLD NAVY brand, so most likely they are the same as "some" of the shirts they sell in their stores.

I see, I wonder if they are allowed to do it.

hey rodney do you work for staton? what's up with that? anyway i had an old navy tee last week and it was super nice, super soft, with rubber at the shoulders. as far as gap they're playing catch up with old navy right now, and 7.5 oz. tshirt is way to heavy to be comfortable. Gap called our company and sent a shirt with the specs. they wanted for it. we will not be making any shirts for the gap, they're looking for a old navy style shirt for less money. good luck with that.

Gap is the same company as Old Navy, and they are the same company as Banana Republic, and the same as Forthe and Towne for older ladies.

Gap is the brand standard, Old Navy is the lower cost version, Banana Republic is their top end brand.

They're the same people.

And whereabout is your company? I though Gap Inc manufactured entirely in non-US whole-hired makers?

oh, didn't know gap and old navy were the same, are you sure about that? we're located in gilbertsville, pa. gap wants us to make shirts for them. we manufacture union shirts in pottstown, pa. but the way they want these shirts made would involve a few more machines which isn't worth the hassle for us. they are very picky.

What's up with what?

Nope, I don't work for staton, I was just sharing information here that I know others here have asked about. I've seen the "how do I get shirts like they sell in gap for my brand" question a couple times.

Staton has a warehouse right down the road from me and I've bought several of the Gap/Old Navy tees from them. They are pretty nice, obviously better than the typical Hanes/Gildan/Jerzee T-shirt. They are very similar to the ones you'd buy at Gap/Old Navy, although I don't think they are exactly the same. I think Gap/Old Navy has created this line of blanks just for this type of market. I would say they are comparable to some of the other higher end Tee blanks out there. And as expected, the Gap ones are nicer than the Old Navy ones.

Are they as heavyweight as they sound? 7.5 ounces sounds pretty high for a t-shirt.

I'm a little surprised it says they are 7.5 oz. I would not have guessed that. But they do feel nicer and softer.
