Found a really cool American Appael alternative. Anyone heard of it?

Default Found a really cool American Appael alternative. Anyone heard of it?

I just did a small sample run of some new shirts I just came across and I love them. Curious if anyone has heard of Pacific Sports? The shirt item number is PM30ESW.

It has an incredibly soft feel. I think way better than American Apparel or Article 1. Cost less than both of them also.

The guy told me it is 'Enzyme and garment washed'. Not exactly sure what that means, but it feels great. Tags tore out easily (I did a screened label). They washed up nice.

Anyone have any experience with these??

Do you have a website for them?

That's in Gardena, CA, very close to me here at work. It's a PCS number (cell). You're not by any chance astroturfing are you? I can't find any reference of the model or the company through google. Please post more info.

I saw their booth at the ISS tradeshow in Long Beach.

Their website is at epacificsports.com

I can't remember being too impressed with the blanks though, but that's going to be a matter of preference. I think I'd prefer an Article1 or Alternative Apparel blank over theirs.

The pricing is pretty darn competitive, so it's worthing getting a sample to see if it would fit for your particular business needs.

Since I couldn't remember them (I have their show flyers right in front of me, but I can't remember their booth...but the blanks that stood out, I tried to make a note of), I figured I'd give them a second shot.

They seem to have more styles that I remembered at the show and the pricing does make me think twice

How bad were the blanks? I don't remember seeing them at the show.

At $2 for colors they're priced the same as Gildans. Hmm... Might have to order some samples!

I'm stuck like glue to aa, gildan, hanes and fruit. ...sort of nervous to try new things I guess.

But one thing i've leaned is that the price you pay is not important when the order inventory fill lacks.

On the upside, getting involved with new companies could turn out to be a good thing. When BlueQ came out with the Dirty Girl stuff I jumped on it. A short time later they got huge...bonus!

It takes a lot of effort and work to promote and educate your clients about "New" blanks brands etc.... i find.

A fake grass roots campaign. In other words an ad masquerading as a user review.

The thing that I personally liked the best about these shirts was the soft hand feel and the cut (and mostly the price). My designs are in the skate, surf, snowboarding demographic, so soft was key.

I haven't done enough business with them to know much about their reliability. I was hoping someone from this forum had some experience with this company and could answer that question.

I have nothing to gain from this company whatsoever. In fact, I know very little more about them other than what I have already stated. They were recommended to me by a company that has been screen printing some shirts for me.

I simply found a product that I really like, for a good price, and thought I would pass on the info.

A bit cynical don't you think?

While it can definitely come across as rude, it's a justified cynicism (I'm not suggesting through any fault of your own).

Unfortunately it does go on, including on this forum (it's against the rules and has got people banned... but it does go on). Even apparently innocent queries should always be taken with a grain of salt. Sometimes it's extremely easy to detect, sometimes it's quite difficult.

It's a nasty, nasty practice. Personally I think the worst part of it is that it makes people suspicious of everyone who asks for an opinion on a company, guilty until proven innocent, etc.

So you can blame the spammers, but sadly it's a justified cynicism.

....at first glance I thought it said "astroSurfing." I think that sounds cooler

About the shirts: I checked out their site which looks like they offer pretty good quality with competitive pricing, but I didn't see any women's styles which may/may not turn people off. I even checked their catalouge.
