I was looking at getting the PM30ESW line. These have already been pre-washed but after washing them yourself would you say they are pretty close to an XS? I want fitted shirts so I'm just trying to get an idea of how close I can get given that S is their smallest size atm.

Hi Brian,
First of all I'm ready to apology if you were mad because my post.
I'm not try to make you hurt and I'm not try to use this Forums to advertize.
Forums has nice tool that send email to me when same thread posting is shown.
That's reason I saw your post that complained our quality which around 10% shrunk.
If that's true story it's going to be trouble to my job,
so I asked to make return this shirts and try to find out what's problem.
(absolutely this cost will reimburse with thanks to you).

Why questioned 3 time wash by web customer service personnel ?
It's not a complain to your test results but it's simply ask to your purpose,
based on that we can give our best recommendation to our customer.
I want to find out fact whatever test results good or bad for our QC system.
I am apology about mis communication.

Point of views of quality control, I'm concerned about shrinkage, twist garment and growing shirts (neck and length) from 3-4 wash and after.
Because PM30 & Pm30ESW style is very light weight( 4.9 oz/yd2,165 gram/m2) single jergey garment than normal weight shirts( 5.6 oz/yd2, 190 gram/m2).

When you wear light weight shirt, it's stretched easy and growing easy.
If shirts not properly recoverly back, it's problem as well.
Light weight cotton shirts is easy shrink and easy growing, like as breathing.
Most of end user do 1st wash only, means that end user have wash(shrink) and wear(grow) and wash(shrunk) and ...
Not many end user do run washer twice or 3 times at same time.
My opinion is 1st wash results is most important factor usally.
But sometimes required 2nd or 3rd wash for special purpose, like as military garment.
PM30ESW is washed garment but we are not say zero shrink but 3 %.
All cotton shirts designed include 1st wash shrinkage factor as well.

Brian,
I'm not deny your test results and your opinion.
You are also one of my customer and I knew that I should make you happy, that's my job.
Please understand if my post and Ki's response was not proper to you.
We were try to listen carefully customer's comment about our product and also try to make customer satisfaction quickly.

I am appreciated to you and Rodney to give this kind opportunity to me.
Best regards,

Since I'm assuming this was directed at me.......The purpose of my post was to thank Brian for posting some actual numbers regarding his experience with these shirts. I saw several "I'll post comparison pictures" comments but noone came through. Brian's numbers helped. Also, I didn't bash this brand of shirts.....I made a comment about our experience with length shrinkage on District Threads shirts and said this brand appears, from Brian's tests, to have a similar problem. The "belly shirt" comment wasn't intended to be taken literally. I'm fully aware that all cotton shirts shrink, even if they are "preshrunk", but it's a problem, for me at least, if that shrinkage drastically changes the proportions of the shirt. Even with Brian's testing numbers there are enough posters who seem to be happy with the shirts that I'll probably buy some and do some testing of my own. Since everyones requirements are slightly different that is really the only way to determine whether or not they will work for us. Lastly, I was probably wrong for specifically thanking Brian for his info without including a thanks to everyone who ordered these shirts and posted info on them. It's hearing both sides, from multiple people, that makes it easier to make a decision on the product. So....thanks to all of you! This forum has been a truely valuable source of information for me.

yea.. ill hurry up with the pics sorry guys its just ive been all trying to wash n wash so i can actually know.. and btw i dont know if this is just me but i believe i read somewhere that ringspun will tend to tighten more but i dont really know what im talking about here so please correct me if not.. and as far as american apparel... i was checking out their measurements... and i think this is it... as i learned here these are tube design while aa is front and back then stitched at the sides allowing for a contour "mold".. aa features 2 inches tighter in the waist dont remember the exact model but i saw a t shirt with this.. epac does not u get the whole chest measure all the way down so i think this is the basic little "trick" aa has under the sleeve for the fitted look

and finally.. my order had an asortment, if u also have a problem about the XS i think ull b out of luck, i think tho with all the shrinking hopefully alot... ill get an ok S since its not alot more smaller i need.. if u are planning on the ESW tho of all i would recommend any of the other ringspuns they were the tightest fit after washes so far theyve done maybe 2 cycles they should still shorten a bit more but right now the best way to put it is if u have a jerzees uve already washed a couple times, these will get maybe an inch to half an inch at the width, and lenghtwise i would have to measure but no doubt theyre still pretty long ill try to get pics soon but yea the ESW i think they make em a little fatter just to be sure since theyre prewashed

Not to change the subject, but has anyone tried these out for women. I know someone mentioned the "Junior" size for women, but the picture on the website looks awful, very square and not fitted. I understand it's a tubular construction, does it hug the torso? Are they longer than the average T? (Which is what I like).
Thanks!

Pacific sports has 2 different type junior shirts (tublar & fitted-side seamed).

Athletic junior shirts - tublar type (25 colors)

Fitted junior type - side seam type. This is 1.5-2" longer than athletic type(black & white only available now). This is ESW type.

Both of 30/1 cprs usa yarn. single jergey fabric.

Hi-I have a question for any of you that have used epac (or chbbbb maybe could answer). I read this thread through and have decided to sample these shirts for myself. I like the fact that I have heard they are super soft, have easy rip out tags and have good customer service. Well, I looked at their website and couldn't figure out how to contact them to see if they offer a sample package or pricing. Also was looking to see what I needed to have in place to order from them. (don't have my reseller's permit yet BUT I don't want that to hold me up.) I called the east coast branch at 6:30ish eastern standard time and was told to call back on Monday morning bc no one was there that could answer any questions...so then I had the bright idea to call the west coast # since it would only be 3:30 there. The man that picked up the phone was not helpful. He told me to surf/play around with the website until I found a way to email the company my questions. I told him I had already tried...I click on FAQ/Customer Support-it comes up with Frequently asked questions but offers NO answers to those questions. He told me he doesn't know anything about the website and needed to ask Ki (or email Ki). Maybe you could help me....or is it not really worth the bother? Thanks!

When I ordered samples I just clicked on the product I wanted, typed in the number of shirts I wanted, clicked add to cart and then went to the checkout.

It's not complicated at all

It's just like ordering a product from an online store. They accept PayPal for online payments.

Just try to go through the checkout process. Then, they will contact you if there's a problem with your order.

You can also contact them directly through this contact info:

The pricing you see on the site is the pricing you pay. If you are ordering single pieces, then you pay the piece price. If you order a dozen of the same size/color, then you get the dozen price.

hey everybody sorry for not being on in forever, ive been tyring to concentrate on a private pilot license and havent been able to check back, as far as juniors.. i ordered one sample, i cant really say they hugged i gave a friend to try shes about 5 8 and average athletic build.. shirt was ok didnt seem very tight or hugging just looked mm say confortable? it did look nice but a small on a 5 8 athletic girl.. most girls i think are smaller than that or skinnier so i dunno, overall these shirts are definitely great quality and the tags you really have to love them they feel like theyre tearaway paper its soo easy you never mess up the stitch but given epac ships separately as say s&s who ships many brands and styles.. polos ragland dressy etc, you figure, they are awesome shirts but i do have to make one point tho.. to compare to AA is to not mention that AA first of all offers XS where EPS does not, and EPC are tubular.. doesnt usually matter but AA actually loses 2 inches at the waist so its got that caracteristic shape eg not all baggy at the bottom, epac are great i would rate them as a great in between from AA to the mainstream brands but i do think this needs to be mentioned, for me the most important factor is to be able to order many different styles from the source epac is great but my picks are the ESW, v neck and normal ringspun the others seemed average thats my two cents good luck everyone

I posted this to another thread about Pacific, but I wanted to share that I ordered samples, and the Junior size (i sampled M and L) fits well for girls/women, but the M was more equivalent to a small and the L was more equivalent to a M. They were not too short... just about right on a variety of heights (my friend who is 5'5" or so and me at 5'10"). We are both slender (size 6 to 8), but not small chested and they fit well. Not sure what they will be like after washing, but I will try not to put them in the dryer.

If you're going to relabel anyway, why not just put to "dry flat" or "line dry" if you think shrinking in the dryer is such a problem? Or at least "tumble dry low" or "cool"?

I think I'll be moving from AAA to Pacific Sports now. Love the slim fit, softer feel, better tearaway tags and for almost the same price.

Only downside is that the the t-shirts are 'Assembled in Haiti'. I thought they were made in USA but they're not so you cant really say this is an AA alternative unfortunately.

how were the usa softspun shirts for softness and fit etc??

My company has used them a lot. We have used there slim-fit Tees. The fit and quality is great and they have tear away tags that make it easy for relabeling. I will give this one warning, they also use some comapnay off the east coast that is not the same fit and quality. We have had a big issue with ordering a run of shirts and getting half the good stuff and half the crappy stuff. They are inconsistant.
But overall they have a great product and we have been generally satisfied.

Hey TALN,
Do you mean that you aren't getting the same merchandise as an east coast customer? I have ordered a bunch of samples from them, and I am planning on ordering my men's shirts from them, but I am not sure about the women's shirts. I am on the east coast, so I deal with the office in south carolina, but I would be concerned if it weren't the same stuff.

Can anyone else comment?
