Default Ribbed tees?

What is a ribbed tee and can you apply transfers to it?

Also, what is ring spun?

Ribbed is a knit type. It's stretchy, and will potentially present problems with transfers (and just about every other form of embellishment). They're generally more comfortable and more attractive on form fitting women's shirts though.

A search for ringspun will answer the other question (and I think it might be one of the auto-definition words?)

If you search for "ribbed" on the forums you will find several threads related to pressing transfers on ribbed fabrics.

Not really, it's more of a "premium" fabric so you don't really find it in regular tees. I think the Hanes Beefy is ringspun.

It is, as are most "premium" brands (AA, aa, A1, some AAA, etc. ), but it's rare amongst standard brands (FotL, Gildan, etc.).

As Solmu mentioned, by "regular tees" I mean the more affordable tees from places like Fruit of the Loom and Gildan.

You can press, screenprint, use vinyl, inkjet transfers, whatever floats your boat.

Yes. It'll make no difference, or be slightly better.

Looking at the price. You would have to sell the tee for $2 to $3 more than normal.
