Thanks for the information. I contacted Carhartt, and they will not let you have the merchandise at wholesale unless you have a storefront. I do not have a place of business. I work out of my home. Just putting this up to let others know who might read this thread. Thanks.

Thanks for posting back with the info!
You should have told them that you are a custom printer looking to offer printing on their products to your customers.
I saw on their site that they can provide you with a list of embroiderers who can embroider on their jackets, so they must be giving those companies some sort of discount (unless the customers are paying retail for the jackets).
I called them (carhatt) they gave me a name and number to a local distributors they said they don't sell them wholesale cause they buy it for that price but they are cheaper then retail. I figured with the winter season coming more people might use the search feature like I did.
There is a place in Reidland Kentucky that sells Carhartt. Seems like it was a storefront, but they have a Carhartt place there close by that actually makes, sews the material and puts it together. I seem to recall them being inexpensive. (keep in mind I was prom dress shopping which makes everything else in the world seem inexpensive).
ps. Reidland is a tiny place so it should be in the yellow pages or 411. Good luck.
