Default WIKZ shirts

Any one used their shirts ? Specifially the Mens' WIKZ short sleave shirt. Your opinions on them appreciated.

I am told they can be dye sub but can they be heat pressed also. ?

Reason for that is we play softball in FL year round and 90% of the time its hot and humid and the cotton shirts start to just naturally stink after a while.

We had some Nike Dri Fits screened and they turned out good but too expensive. So looking to hook our team and others in the leauge with them. Make some moola for my new TSHIRT ADDICTION.

THanks
Mark

I don't think I've heard of that brand, but there are several brands that make the wicking type t-shirts that are good for outdoors/sports use.

I have not used the shirts, But did do a run of 75 messenger bags for book store. The bags seemed to be good quality and the customer loved them. I plan to offer these shirts to a few Golf courses for tournament and outing shirts. Good luck........ JB

If you can dye sub it, you can almost certainly press on it. Make sure that your transfer maker knows you're putting it on polyester. You will probably want to include a stretch additive. tdott and ACE both make flex transfers. I'm sure there are others but these are the only two I have experience with. Easy on the pressure and use a teflon pillow to eliminate the press lines.

If avoiding funk is what you're after... steer clear of polyester! The smell can raise the dead if you don't wash the shirts immediately after wearing them.

The materials have gotten MUCH better of the years. It used to be that the smell would never really go away -- freshly laundered shirts would still have noxious underscents and it would blossom into a full blown stench pretty quickly. The anti-microbial coatings really make a difference.

Took a look at the web site and they look suspiciously like the vapor shirts. I have a feeling that this is another case of a company making a shirt that will sublimate well and marketing it as a 'performance' shirt (which is not to say that they may not wick well, just that it's not the first design criteria).

Has anyone sampled both this line and the vapor line? I'm curious as to how they differ.

I noticed that they are more expensive than Vapors, but also have a bigger variety of colors. And they are less expensive than WICKed's, so I wonder how they compare quality wise. If anybody has any experience with them, please share your thoughts.

Hello
I went to the site to order a couple to test. When I put in the cc info their system didn't have enough years to accept. So I emailed them about it. Never heard back. That was shortly after posting the original message. I emailed them couple of times and NEVER ONCE got a reply back and last time I checked the order system still didn't go up to 2010 for the credit card. However they have sent me emails about their products.
So I gave up on them.
