I don't know if there is a way to tell once you "have" the t-shirts in your hand.

Usually, the place you bought them will tell you what style you ordered. Can you ask the place where you bought them which style it is?

You might try ordering 1 or 2 per style till you find out which one it is you liked.

Alstyle 1701 are ringspun cotton, so they are soft and they have a tearaway tag. Most all of their shirts are switching to tearaway, so that might not be the best indicator.
