Question Where are pluma Heavyweight Cotton T-Shirts ?

I cannot find Pluma Heavyweight Cotton T-Shirts. Does anyone know where we can find them or a t shirt just as heavy and thick as they were? They used to sell them at Sams several years ago....

A substitute will do but I need the name of a good substitute.

Thanks!

Do you have an RN number (found in the neck label) for Pluma?

EDIT: I found the company in an RN search here.

There's not much info on them, but you might be able to give them a call and see if they are still making t-shirts.

In order to suggest a substitute, I'd need to know more about the shirts. How heavy, style, etc.

Interesting that someone is looking for Pluma, as I literally wore a grey XL Pluma shirt on yesterday that I've owned 5 years, purchased from Sam's also. It too shows RN 13765 and was made in the Dominican Republic.

Here are two long, yet informative articles on the entire Pluma line. Looks like they are no longer or they go by a different product name:

Amazing.

I just did a google search for these T-Shirts, the best I've ever owned, and too bought mine at Sam's Club a decade ago. I loved their thickness, they tapered to my waist, an "althletic fit" that one can hardly find in T-shirts or even dress shirts in our time of pandemic obesity. I also found them to not be too prone to wrinkling, and for vanity sake, they made me look buff, like few t-shirts do so well, simply the way the shirt hung around the chest. If I could buy these, I'd buy a ton, a lifetime supply. Mine have now frayed at the neck, but still wear great otherwise. Please if any of you find these or any like them, let me know.

The RN number on my shirts is: RN 73164

OK...So, has anyone found out if there's someplace to purchase Pluma T-shirts now? I've got to agree with the comments made here...these have to be the absolute best t-shirts on the planet! I've had several now for over 5 years and, although frayed a bit around the edges (aren't we all???) they still wear like iron. I've got a few with various and sundry stains that I'd like to get rid of and replace with new ones. Anyone who finds where these might be sold, please let everyone (ME!!!) know about it.

From the scouring I did on the web when I first replied to this thread, it seems that Pluma is no more. But, you may want to contact the companies listed from the RN databases shared here and your local Sam's Club.

I bought all of mine at Sam's years ago. I saw a "lot" of them today on eBay but they are women's Pluma tees and considered used, in good condition.

Wow!!! Thanks for the quick reply, AB! I've e-mailed Sam's Club to let them know of my displeasure in not carrying these shirts any more. Perhaps if enough of us filled up thier e-mail boxes with complaints, they might consider going back to a high quality product...instead of the soooo light wieght, inferior one they now stock.

Neat. I recently started a thread about the Russell Athletic shirts they sell @ Sams Club now instead of the Pluma brand...been a few years since they switched here...not a huge difference between them, but I did prefer the Plumas...also my Sams club used to stock about 8 different colors in long & short sleeves up to 3xl, but now the Russell Atheletics they have in only 2 or 3 colors and only short sleeved...

well...still haven't heard anything from Sam's about going back to Pluma. The shirts they stock now are TERRIBLE!!! They are the "Member's Mark" (Sam's Club) brand and they are about 1/2 the thickness (or less!) of the Pluma brand. And, they have only a couple of colors. If anyone knows where the Pluma brand might be retailed, I'd love to hear.

I went & check the tags on a couple of my older shirts to see if I could get any info off of them (no #'s or anything, they're pretty ragged) but 2 of them actually say "PLUMA by Russell Atheletic" on the part of the tags I can read...so the plot thickens...

Hi! I'm new here, but am so excited to find others who are in search of these great shirts. My husband is driving me crazy to find some more like it that he originally purchased at SAM'S. The tag on his say PLUMA by RUSSELL ATHLETIC made in Honduras WPL 7232. I hope this helps and look forward to hopefully finding some more of these great shirts. Thanks! Have a great day!
