Hey Everyone...looking for some info here and any help would be greatly appreciated... I see all the t-shirt wholesalers on the net... and I'm looking at aiming a product towards the high end market...example..."Barking Irons in NYC", how do I go about finding a manufacturer that provides different types of shirts in custom colors and textures...vintage t's, different cottons,...worn fabrics... everything I find seems standard...what is the process in finding the fabrics and colors and textures...I'm a graphic designer and am working with a financial partner...any help would be great..thanks...
Hey Rodney..thanks for the response...I haven't tried any yet...I guess what I need help with is trying to familiarize myself with the process of printing up a high end t-shirt line... if I find shirts I like (cut and fabric), who will do the custom colors and fades? The manufacturer of the shirt?, or do I buy White and have someone else do the color and/or wearing(aging)..for vintage tee's?? if you could run a little bit of the process by me it would help greatly...

I think it depends on what you're looking for exactly.
Some shirts might be available as "ready made" blanks in the style you want already.
Some of the "vintage" effects are done by the actual design on the shirt, and not the garment.
There are dye houses (losangelesdye.com, dyehouseltd.com) that will do special garment washes like enzyme washes, etc that will add some vintage effects to the shirts, but it's possible that you may be able to find what you need from one of the websites linked to in the thread above.
If you can explain in a bit more detail what you're looking for (maybe post example photos?) that will help us better point you in the right direction
Hey Rodney... you've already pointed me in the right direction...garment dying is one of the things I was looking for... I already own a lot of these shirts, just don't know the verbal descriptions of these processes...I'm gonna have some more questions, but I just wanted to say thanks... you've already saved me hours of internet searches...
