Default equivalents to alstyle 1701

We have been using the alstyle 1701's for awhile now but are noticing certain fit changes and quite a bit of randomness depending on what country/factory they have come from, we are looking for a similar shirt, anyone have a better tee?

There aren't that many alternatives to heavier weight ringspun tees. TSC Apparel 2009 Collection has one in their Tultex line. Hanes has a 6oz one in their Beefy T.

Thanks for your help, one last question, the shape/cut of the alstyle seems to be strange on the neck, it sometimes feels like a turtleneck, it has changed in the last two years. Comparing tees at similar shops, Fox, Volcom have a different shirt that the cut feels good, whereas, the Metal Mitilitia shirt I bought definately is the alstyle with the strange cut. I'm more concerned with the better cut/fit on a msrp $20 tee than anything else, is there a brand that you believe is a better fit?
