Hi, I hope somebody can answer for me. My wife makes jewelry and we wanted to put small vinyl decals on clear coated wood discs. I was thinking we should then clear coat over the whole front surface after the decal is on to give it a one piece look and feel. Can you clear coat over vinyl and would something like Minwax Polycrylic work over it?

Hi Mike,

Polyacrylic works fine, I use it to make the little button that goes inside car steering wheels.
