I have a Master Cutter and it has been working poorly.
It seems to make diagonal cuts across my vinyl for some unknown reason. I have been turning it off during cuts to give it a break, but it still happens. This time my cutter will not turn back on.
I took the fuse out and it looks like the wire is broke inside the fuse. I hope this is my problem. Just wondering if this fuse can be bought at any local hardware store?
You are welcome What software/computer do you use with your machine. Just asking because a computer with a low amount of ram memory will make your machine act like you described (cutting cross ways).

P.s. Radio Shack should have the fuse not an auto parts store.
My computer is a 4GB with a duo cpu, 64 bit with vista. I am using signgo pro for the cutter.
Ah I thought so I had the same problem when I had to buy a new computer that had Vista on it and had to go back to Windows XP. It has something to do with the firewall in Vista checking the ports ever so often but I could never solve the problem. If you have an old computer with XP or even win 2000 on it your cutter will cut like it should.
I have a friend thinking about selling her old computer, guess i will try to buy. It has XP. A new computer who would have thought??? Some software doesn't work well with the 64bit. My warrenty will void I change windows.

Hi Guys and Girls I am new to the forurms and new to the Master cutter that i own, I bought the cutter with singo pro as the software, I am having a problem i hope someone can help me with. In the program you can curve your text buy right clicking to text on arc, well thats the problem , nomatter what i have in the text box its not showing up so i can go there. I mean its there but not in a dark print so i can click on it and ideas of what I have done wrong??? any help would be great>>.. Also on more thing I used to be albe to import jeps to auto trace now i cant get the graphic in the jep to show up when i import it it comes up an empty box..... what did i do wrong Thanking you all in advance for your time Diane

Thats a software problem I'm sure someone here on the forum can help just make a new post with "signgo problems". I don't use that software but I'm sure someone here does.

I use SignGO lite and have a Master Tiger series 1000, but can't help with your answer. However there is a SignGo forum if you have not tried them out for help yet:

Hi, wondering what model your Master machine is? I have a Master Tiger series 1000 I bought from eBay about 3 years ago. I've been having some issues with it recently and too often now, so I've decided to buy something better. It was working great for me and it's very easy to use, but it's become unreliable which is bad for business (I'm a hobbyist who works from home and sells stuff on eBay).
Master cutter will not turn on.
