Default Flexi Sign User - Need Some Help Please!

Hi ppl

I have been using flexi sign 8.5 for a few weeks now and looking at getting a plotter..I am getting good at vectorizing images and logos and they will be the first lot of stuff i will be plotting, anyway my question is once i have prepared my vectored logo which is 400mm wide, how do i prepare it for plotting, and how do i put a bunch of these logos in a straight line for plotting?

i Have never plotted before and just wondering what is the best way to organize them in flexi sign to send off to plot 10 at once line by line?

By the way im very sorry if ive posted this in the wrong spot, mods feel free to move it. I felt this forum was best suited as its decal and sign software.

Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated

Cheers

Betty, keep in mind that Flexi is just one sign software out there and expensive for most. However any design software will allow you to gang (Multiple)the design on your canvas. Just copy the first image then paste it after the first one then repeat till you get the maximum number you can cut in a row. In other words if you have 20 inch wide vinyl and your design is 5 x 5 then you can do at least 3 across. Allowing for margins. If it is 24 then you can do 4 across. want more the just start a second row.. so on.. Lou

Its very simple and easy to understand once you choose a graphic and send to plot. Your production manager window will open showing you the plotter and path of your vinyl. If you load 24" material you will designate 22" cutting width and whatever length you think you will need. Its very easy to interpret the controls so dont worry. Your graphic will apear with a bounding box around it. The manager will allow you to control how many objects of the image you want to cut and will stack them accordingly. If you want a bit of space between the objects you can just increase the size of the bounding box and the production manager will align everything depending on the length and width of the material loaded. You will also be able to rotate and mirror your cutable object within the manager to get the best fit for the material chosen. You dont need to worry really because the software is very easy and straight forward thinking. Once you play with it a bit you will have zero worries.
