Default Best material for T-Shirt transfers?

Hello all,

I am wanting to try out some heat applied opaque transfers for dark t-shirts. I have a source with and Eco=Sol Max printer who is willing to print on my material for me. My question is: what is the best material to use. I have heard of something called Opaque Solutions. I also know that Roland makes a product for this purpose. (have heard it's not so good.) Does anyone have any experience they'd like to share? would love to know:

how well it "takes the ink"
application
feel and wearability
how it holds up under repeated washes

as always, thanks to all in advance, love this place!

Inkjet transfer paper is simply printed by an inkjet or sublimation printer. Look on the forum for discussions on best paper for darks.

tj,
thanks for the response. I am familiar with these papers. I am looking for material specifically formulated for Solvent Inks. Preferably, something that can be purchased in rolls.

thanks,
Dan

Dan- I too use a Roland for tee's and have tried approx. 15 different brands of transfer paper. The best we've found and is consistent from batch to batch for color hue and saturation as well as ease of transfer is....wait for it....

Imprintable's Solution Opaque and Solutions Clear - hands down the best. Wash test have shown nearly no fade, cracking or wrinkling. The colors on the Opaque is breathtaking and the clear is superb as well.

Now if they would only do a decent job in packaging shipments....that's another story altogether!
