Red face New to the 'business'

Hi, I'm new to the 'business'. Just purchased my Roland GX24, looking to begin a home based business starting with a focus in Vinyl Lettering for Home Decor. Looking for advice on types of Vinyl...from what I can tell Oracal 631 is a good choice. Any other suggestions on vinyl, or a good priced place to purchase online!

I like 651 because cheap and easy to use..... if you are mainly doing interior stuff than stick with that

You can get great info. by browsing signs101.com but I will warn you to becareful if you join that you Intro yourself and becareful how you intro yourself because they are savages on there... I now I got iced off twice or 3 times I forget ha

Just read what people have posted and you will find alot of great info. wish I could say same about the members that are on there

I use Avery 6-9 a lot mostly 6. I do truck doors and they use high pressure washers to clean the trucks and have not lost a sign yet and I have some that have been on for 2 years when I started. I use wellinton House.com for my sign vinyl. Lou

You are right on the money with considering Oracal's 631 product. It's very easy to cut, has a great color assortment, easy to apply and remove. I love the stuff myself!

Keep in mind that the Oracal 631 product is Removable Adhesive vinyl, whereas 651 is Permanent Adhesive.

I personally do not suggest using any permanent vinyl on walls, unless you've tested with it and can speak to it being easy to remove with no pulling of paint or wall damage. Many people like changing wall decor, especially for kids rooms as they age. The 631 allows for this, easily.
