Has anyone ever did a round sign on transparent Plexiglas? Did you cut it out yourself or did the company that supplies your blanks do it? The company I buy from cannot cut it. The sign will be 6 foot in diameter. I would appreciate any feedback.

round shapes cand be cut using a tool called cnc router...like a computer controlled jigsaw (but not quite).

two weeks ago, faced with a similar problem, i used a vinyl template to trace the shape down on a pvc foam board (it was an elipse) and then i used a jigsaw to contour cut it.
some sand paper is necesary to smooth out the rough surfaces.

maybe that helps.

later edit - 6 foot in diameter...thats big...but i observed that some big signs are made by pieces...
