OK.. We have been wanting to try doing a wrap on one of these for a while now.. as B races them. This Boat is a older boat ( a year or so old) that a boating friend of ours wanted to fix up to take to the national champion races in Colorado coming up.. The hardest part was making the pattern.. We didnt cover the nose part or the cowl. or the bottom of the boat.. lol.
We did it in 3 parts.. the back as one.. and each sponson (sp) seperate..This boat is 44 inches long.. and has loads of curvers..
The guy holding the boat when finished is the boats owner.. And he loves it.. the boat orginally was black with a yellow cowel.
It has a couple things we would do differant next time.. but.. all in all It looks great.. I think..
It took a few hours lol.. but that was because i had help.. the boat owner watched.. and kept getting his hands on the boat.. lol.. I told B to slap his hand if he didnt stop lol.
It was the first one so took longer..
I had fun tho..
Hey Sue, great job on the boat. Very unique niche. I imagine you'll get more orders for wraps, once people see the boat at the championships. Very cool.
