Default multicolor designs given to customer

Howdy
For a softball buddy I am cutting out the steeler logo for him.
It has 4 colors to it, grey , blue , yellow, red, and black. Okay thats 5.

I am wondering what is the best way to give this to him so he can stick it to what he wants to.

Just give him each piece taped up and say good luck aliging it up.

Or do you stick it to something , and tape it up and then give it to him (hope that made sense).

Thanks for the help
Mark

Mark first off Steeler's suck do you have clear transfer tape? If so, just layer them yourself if it is a smaller decal.

I agree steelers suck. esp since I am a cowboy fan. However he is my main power hitter so gotta keep him happy :-)

I got two types of tape from signwarehouse.
One is a masking type tape and the other is semi see thru. I can't find the info on them.

Okay so lay it out, tape it up and give it to him.

Thanks
Mark
Cowboys rule steelers suck and so does the rest of the NFL. :-)

Mark how big is the decal? I've actually did a few squeelers decals and they are fairly easy to line up.

You might want to give a call to a supplier of cad cut materials. I'd start with where you buy your vinyl now. They probably carry something similar to Magic Mask that is used as a carrier sheet for those types of applications.

For that kind of choice I go by size.

If the colors are large pieces - bigger than 4 or 5 square inches - give them to him separately. Mask them with clear tape though so it will be easier to line up. The problem with putting them all together is you almost always get bubbles when the pieces are big.

If the colors are small pieces go ahead and put them together for him. I would still use clear tape, just mask the top color only and then gently squeegee it onto each lower color.

If you have a combination of large and small, you can put some of them together and give the others separately.
