My local distributor will cut mine down to whatever size for free also anf for bubble popping I use a standard needle in a dowel rod. That's actually my weeding tool too.
ive tried the needles.. but the finger pokers are actually finer.. as in smaller.. than needes (believe it or not.) the needle in the dowel is a pretty good idea..
I have a poker thing that i use that is in a exacto knife type handle.
(needles scare me as i stepped on one once.. and mmmm did you know needles dont bend they break.. .. like right off in my foot.. it was not fun.

now see........this is a great idea!! I bet there are alot of things out there that we all do to help us along that others could benefit from.
Weeds and flowers don't mix JB Besides them are already marketed, I got that off my local distributor's website. I buy them to use as bubble popper, weeder, finger nail cleaner. I give like a buck for them, now they have more alaberate ones, but that right there is all I need.
I'll check when I get to the shop Pat. I have to be specific when I tell my husband which one I want him to order for me.......cuz he needs to keep his installer happy
