Default Thoughts and Opinions on EnduraCUT & EnduraCUT Plus

Ok So right now I have a Creation PCUT. Not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but definately far from great. My question is I need a cutter to be able to cut really small letters, as well as fairly large designs. I am about to get a new contract and definately need something better, their decals range from credit card sized, which have like 1/8" letters on them, to large race trailer graphics. The large graphics are no problem with the PCUT just the small ones.

So I am just looking for your opinions on the EnduraCUT's. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Better question may be what vinyl are you using? I can tell you from my experience that Oracal vinyl weeds and cuts alot better then Avery or FDC when it comes to small graphics and letters. I am running a refine 721 and have cut letters at 1/8" with no problems. Also alot has to do with what font you use.

I have been using LG, sometimes on small letter too the cutter picks up the letters after it cuts them.

I've never used LG vinyl, but that's exactly what mine will do with Avery and FDC where when I use Oracal it cuts perfectly. I would buy a roll of Oracal and try it before I bought a new cutter, JMO. Also maybe mess with blade depth and pressure and remember when cutting small to turn speed way down.

I have a Endura cut plus machine and it has made me a bunch of money over the 2 years, I had it. I recently changed to a Gx 24 and their is a difference in the performance and the price. I agree with David, I would switch vinyl first. The uscutter brand is a good brand . .... JB

How often should I change the blades.... I have no more, so I think I am going to buy some good ones instead of using the ones that came with it.

I havehad my machine for over 2 yrs and have cut miles of vinyl ranging from standard sign vinyl to heat press vinyl the reflective and chrome vinyl and I have only changed my blade maybe 4 times. These are the blades that come with the cutter too.
