I just used up my first roll of white oracle 651. I made a 6x8" window decal and gave it to a dude and he installed it himself. The next day I was able to peel up the edge with my fingernail. Is this normal? My question is which one should I use for 13oz outdoor banners? car window decals and metal license plates? Outdoor metal signs? Storefront windows? The 751 is twice as much but I dont want to have to use it unless it is necessary. Thanks for your response, C.

651 should be good for banners, car windows and metal license plates. 751 for Outdoor signs and storefront windows.

Sounds like maybe his window wasn't cleaned good enough and that's why it is coming up.

RainX.....that stuff is wicked....I bet he has treated his windows...it's Teflon based and Alc/Water wont touch it.....laquer thinner will though.

RapidPrep any vehicle that you do to remove wax and road grime/oxidation build-up. You want the decals to adhere to the paint/glass, not the wax.

Personally, I wouldn't use 651 for anything. 751 is fine for window decals, but more often than not I'll use 851 and spare myself the headaches. The price difference is negligible when you break it down over many jobs.

I use 651 on a lot of indoor and outdoor signs. As long as the surface is prepped properly you shouldn't have a problem with it. I do offer 751 and 851 as an upgrade at a little higher price to cover the increase in costs. Most people wanting window stickers only want it to stick to thier window for a year or two before they will remove it and stick something different in its place.
