I have a color chart and sample booklett type thing with all the colors.
I also got a sample card with all the colors of the alum they carry also..
we basically have done business with both Sign Mart and Ordway for years.. and both companies treat us really well..
I cannot say enuff good stuff about either of these companies.
on another note.. I would ask them how it holds up in cold weather.. i have heard from someone that it is differant where it gets really cold.. so i would check with them please.
as ive not used it in this application..
Just to add my .02, Weve been in biz for about 5 years now & Oracal is what I would recommend. I have signs in Arizona & up north & dpending on the type of Oracal, it'ss last a long time. My deal is if it moves I use 751, if it's stationary I'll use 651.
Boro.. are you using actual masking tape or the app. tape that looks like it..
I use clear when im selling printed decals to customers.. But find the clear tape for application purposes not as easy or good to use when doing applications of cut vinyl..
just my 2 cents

Curious guys...I have been doing uniforms for a while with my GX 24 but recently been asked to provide Mascot car widow stickers...How do I do that with this machine??
Actual masking tape, lol. Its all i had to hand at the time. And its only 1" wide, so needs alot to cover an A4 sheet of stickers.
Im still at the point of buying materials, so any advice on tape would be very helpful. I like the sound of clear tape.
OMG don't use masking tape, you'll have a big mess. I recommend perfecTear or R-Tape paper tape. Clear tape is nice for multicolor dry apps, but any wet apps you will want paper tape, but NOT MASKING TAPE.
I don't do a lot of vinyl, but when I do I use paper tape. .... JB

We started using the clear tape for applying vinyl to tiles and boards and it works great...along with window decals so the customer can see the image.
However, when I tried to use it to put up some more sings on our store window...it didn't work as well as the paper tape I used before.
