What Kind Of Programs Do You You For Signs And Decals
Im just now starting to do some decals and will probably get into doing signs. but i was woundering what software do you use when making them. i have a Roland Gx-24 with cut-studio and have corel x3 which i have been using for my decals. is there seperate programs for decals and signs that i should purchase or am i fine with what i got.

I just use SignBlazer Elements which came with my USCutter. I'm not an artist and I don't play one on TV but what I come up with in my Paint Shop Pro software, I am able to import and have it vectorized by SignBlazer.
I'm sure my way is clunky, but so far it works for me. One day I'll learn Corel.

Thanks for all your responces. it looks like im ok with what i bought. one more question, all the programs that you guys have listed, did they come with your cutter or did you purchase one seperatly.

I see a lot of the same answers but my suggestion would be to get some sign templates. Bring them into your corel draw or Flexisign as I do and just make a few changes. do a google search for sign templates.

that is a good point lou..
another thing ive not seen mentioned anywhere in this forum, is if you want to make nice signs.. (ones that look good and have appeal) Strive to learn about sign design.. and excellent book on the subjec is Mastering Layout by Mike Stevens....
The world has way to many ugly signs .. lol..
IN making signs you really need to learn about the use of negative space, good fonts and their uses.. Kerning your fonts.. and such..
Signs should have impact and be legible along with being artistly appealing..
Just my 2 cents
