Im building a site o sell vinyl declas with my designs. When I do a google search I mostly find ppl selling signs and vehicle graphics. I barely find ppl selling small decals other than ebay. There are lots of them there.
Here I just found StickerNut whit his page: stickernut.com
Are many of you selling this kind of stickers? Is it profitable?
Im adding a shirt line to the sticker page.
Thanx
Joe

Reason: delinked URL
I've looked around at getting stickers made for my company, and it doesn't seem like you'd make a ton of money at it. You can get 1000 stickers for $100 @ stickerguy.com. You'd have to be doing HUGE quantity to make it worth it.
Yes, it can be profitable. If you have a cutter sitting idle, put it to work. The weeding can be a pain. But you can make use of the time you're sitting in front of the tv!
Vinyl as in stickers?
Depends. Stickers can be so cheap that people might get their own. It will really depend on what's on them, who you're trying to sell to, yadda yadda.
Yup
Vinyl for car windows. Im using my plotter very well. I just wanted to see if there was a good market for them online, get some seller experiences and so on.

Sure, if you're selling t-shirts and you have a cutter, there's no reason you shouldn't add stickers to your lineup.
That gives your customers more things to buy. Some low ticket items can lead to higher ticket t-shirt sales.
The materials don't cost much for the amount you can sell it for.
There's no guarantee they will sell, but that's true with just about anything.
The good part about stickers with a vinyl cutter is that you don't have to cut it until your customer orders it from you. That way there's no waste.
What exactly is a plotter? I love the stickers that are specially made for cars, and they even look better as domes and the glue used seems to make the sticker never come off or even fade as i've experienced.
There is more $$$$ in window decals for cars then there is t-shirts where I am. I mean I do ALOT more shirts but the price per square inch is ALOT more for window decals. I'd rather do them all day long then t-shirts.

The profit margin is awesome for stickers. If you make a 5"x5" siticker, you probaby have about $.20 in it for the material and tape (if that). I seel them all day long for $7.00 and they only take about 2 minutes to plot, weed and tape.
Nice return on the investment with them.
Rodney's right, they may start off with a sticker then buy a matching shirt or even a sign.
Im happy to read this. I know thare are tons of variables and posibbilities. I have tu market well, have good designs and so on. I know I have to work hard. Just wanted to have some opinions.
thanx
Where do you them - swap meets and stuff. i have a friend on the east coast of Canada doing that and he just builds in other products to fill in around his stickers. I'm thinking I am missing the boat here by not trying the same thing and adding the stickers to my t-shirts and hats at these shows in Ontario. I understand from previous posts that there is a fairly inexpense plotter available for under $1,000. Would this include the software needed to run it - I would think so.
Yeah, Plotters usually bring the software fully functional or at least a trial and then you buy a subscription (from what Ive read so far). Good luck.
