Default Best, inexpensive heat-apply vinyl

Hello. I am new to all of this so please help. I am trying to find rolls of heat vinyl for a reasonable price. I keep thinking to buy the best, but the best is about $40 a roll for 5yds. I started with ThermoFlex. I know it is good, but is there anything else I can use that is just as good that does not cost so much? I live in a town that is cheap so everyone wants something for nothing and the best quality. Well, so do I. I want to make them happy on both ends. Please help. Also, where do you buy this stuff. I got mine from blankshirts.com. Great selection, but all of the websites are the same price. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks!!

I get my Thermoflex from Specialty Graphics Supply offers vinyl cutters, heat presses, transfer sheets, sign and t-shirt vinyl and more They have the best price that I've found and for me I usually get my shipment in 2 days. I've found that they have excellent customer service as well. Oh and don't forget that they give forum members a special discount!! You can find the discount information here http://www.t-shirtforums.com/exclusi...erred-vendors/

I use imprintables wharehouse, a site sponser. I like the lower temp they use compared to some of the others I have used.

Bethany,

I purchase from Specialty Graphics but I use Siser EZ-weed, a grest product as well as Thermoflex. The reason i use them is because they will allow you to buy by the foot or by the roll. This way you can buy only what you need and as well as it allows you to get several colors for a small price without having to buy an expensive roll for each color.

When I first started with heat press vinyl i had an order with lime green vinyl. I bought the roll because the vendor I bought it from only sold by the roll. I still have that roll of lime green vinyl over two years later. I have used some of it but I still have a lot of it left. This is why i like buying by the foot. I buy only what I need and don't have a ton of stock left over.

Of course if you have a large order, it is cheaper to buy the roll but if you just have a few shirts a couple feet will do.

Eco-film from Imprintables Warehouse is by far my favorite. Reasonably priced @$6-7 a yard, cuts and weeds easy, and most importantly to me...hot peal!
