Can you use just corel draw for window decals and banners?
Just starting out, PLEASE HELP...
I am going to purchase the roland gx-24, that I plan on using for t-shirts, banners, decals, etc. My question is do I need something other than corel draw, like Flexi 8.5 (or please suggest some)? I just plan on starting out with your basic sports window decals and simple worded signs and banners. Ex. Eddings Small Engine Repair and # on side of truck (not magnetic) and also on coroplast.
I am tring to keep my cost down.

You can use CorelDraw to make your designs, but you need a cutting software like Flexi 8, Cutstudio, signcut, etc, to do the actual cutting (It's what your cutter communicates with) VERY important with out cutting software you won't be able to do anything.
CorelDraw is just a vector program that's used in the industry to make designs. NOT a cutting program. Although you can save your designs in EPS format (In CorelDraw) to export or import in to your cutting software.
So to answer your question YES you need a cutting software for your roland. Are you buying your roland new or used? If buying new, they usually come with cutstudio.
