I'm wanting to start my own t-shirt business. I have a heat press and a lap top and I am looking for a good type of vinyl cutter. I need a good brand, but something cheap! I'm thinking I can spend about $500 for a decent cutter. Do all cutters work the same, is it the cutter or the software that makes a good design? Can someone help me out please? Thanks.
i use a laserpoint 24 from uscutter. i got it off of ebay for about $295.00 with free shipping.
and if comes with some software that is easy to learn if you try.

I also bought A USCutter Laserpoint from ebay, the overall quality of the machine is OK, but not near as good as a Graphtec or Roland, I also was in the same finacial situation as you.

I was so about to refer this person to that thread.... haha.... But I am looking for one and I have a big bigger of a financial bracket, I might get it from Ryonet when I get my silk screening stuff!
