Default Image Requirements: The professional way of saying "an image big enough to cut"?

I tell people I can cut vinyl and can stack it to make multicolored designs. I get halftone dot layers that are supposed to be cut and layered to make a gradient. There's no way I can actually cut that.

I plan on listing the image requirements, but how do I say it can't have detail so fine that a blade cannot cut it (or even if it can be cut, I don't want to spend the time to weed it for $0.30)?

To cut with a plotter...All artwork must be in the Vector format Not Bitmapped images like JPG's.

I would also explain to your consumers that the process in which you ensure that your products are of a high quality require that images be in vector format.

The vector format is a standard in which the image can then be seperate by color (when making multicolored designs) so that it can be cut using a special piece of equipment called a plotter.

If you are unsure as to whether your artwork meets the requirements of the Vector format please contact me (you).

** This is the polite way of telling those that may not understand you are willing to look at their work and not dismissing it because they may not understand.

That's the best way I could explain it in simple terms.

My problem really isn't the image format. I will get Illustrator files that just contain text, and the text has been converted to curves. The file is cut ready, but it would be a 10cm tall by 30cm wide in this font:

There's no way I can cut that font, unless it is fairly large. I would have a hard time cutting Arial that small, but at least it's doable. Even if I could cut it without it being a distorted pile of crap, I wouldn't even attempt to weed it due to the detail. Isn't there something like lines per inch that can be used to describe halftones?

Why not just say "some artwork does not lend itself to vinyl cutting."
