Default Help Needed in Determining between a Creation PCUT or USCutter MH Plotter

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I have been doing a lot of research across several boards into which media type would work the best for my designs and materials and have discovered that a Vinyl plotter is exactly what I needed.

I am on a limited budget and want a decent quality machine but don't want to break the bank in the process. I have narrowed by selection down to the following two machines both found on uscutter.com:

** USCutter MH-series Vinyl Cutter
25" - $349.99 (with stand)
33" - $389.99 (with stand)
Or
** Creation PCUT Vinyl Cutter
24" - $429.99 (with stand)
36" - $529.99 (with stand)

From what I read they both look to be about the same (a side from the brands) but my eyes and knowledge are not the same as many of the veterans here so I look to you guys (and gals) for any and all help and advice.

** I am also looking at buying the flexi s/w as I see that across this board and the uscutter one that there is a lot more potential in the use of the program then just the s/w that is bundled with it. That said I am leaning more towards the MH 33" model as the s/w + the MH is about the same as the pcut.

I am planning on using it for stickers, wall decals but mostly heat transfer vinyl designs.

Suggestions and experiences are appreciated!

Thanks,

Hi Tim,
If your planning on cutting stickers, you might also want to consider the USCutter Laserpoint 24, because of it's contour cutting feature. It also is around the price point you are looking at. I bought mine from ebay with stand for $345.00 from USCutter.
I just figured out how to use the contour cut feature, it's really cool.
Only concern would be with support, have read some threads recently about poor phone support, but the USCutter forum support is still good.
Of course if you got the bucks, buy a Roland or a Graphtec machine!
