PS Poly-Twill not lifting from backing with transfer tape
What type of transfer tape will lift the Poly-Twill from it's backing? I've got a few rolls of Poly-Twill and would like to make some shirts like pimpashirt.com did with Poly-Twill and Vinyl Edging to hold it in place. I have some transfer tape called Magic Mask, but it will not pull the Poly-Twill from its backing. Seems that the Magic Mask is not sticky enough. Any recommendations?
Re: PS Poly-Twill not lifting from backing with transfer tape
The magic mask you have may work if you squeegee it in place and work the backing away from the twill by pulling it back at a sharp angle to the twill. I have never gotten it to pull off easily but I think that is a trade off for having consistent cutting.
Re: PS Poly-Twill not lifting from backing with transfer tape
Try the stretchprint mask, use a squeegee, then flip the masked design over and pull away the twill backing and let gravity help you Will definitely work.
