I have a poster of a truck that was brought into Illustrator. The truck is outlined because we want to create a fathead of it. When I bring it into VersaWorks, the cut/contour lines are not recognized. I just printed a ton of stickers where the cut lines are recognized. I have tried so many variations with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks!
Re: VersaWorks not recognizing Illustrator oulines
I have been doing that and it worked like a charm. But in this instance, if I select the path and click "flatten transparency" I get a ton of white boxes.
Re: VersaWorks not recognizing Illustrator oulines
It's not the path that's the problem, it's the raster image. Maybe leave off the contour line at first. Flatten the art first, then add your contour line.
Re: VersaWorks not recognizing Illustrator oulines
I had that happen with Versaworks too. Try to remove any transparency in the design. Check on all your layers. I use Corel, but was able to fix a similar problem that way.
Re: VersaWorks not recognizing Illustrator oulines
Yeah, I am determined to get it to work. We've been set-up at a farm show this week and I have not had much time to mess with it. When I figure it out, I'll post what I did!
