We just got a vinyl cutter and heat press. I think I am now officially obsessed with vinyl and I feel like sticking it everywhere! (yes, you can call me crazy) Anyways,
just thought it would be interesting to hear from all of you: What are some interesting/unusual things that you've applied vinyl to?

I ironed a number on the tongue of a pair of soccer shoes. It was the type of tongue that folds over. Itwas a tricky little project. We had to hold just the tongue under the press. I figured the number would have come off pretty quick since that is usually where the player strikes the ball, but they lasted a season. Great question Sharon!

Made a single use temporary tattoo stencil for my wife to apply to a boxer. He needed his sponsor's name across his back, for which he received $2,000 and we received......a little less.

I've applied wall vinyl to the foot board of my bed which is wood. At some point, I'd like to test applying vinyl on other surfaces, like a concrete or brick floor, stone, metal, acrylic to name a few.

We use the Oracal 3620 & 3640 depending on whether the cup is white or another color. We have the Versacamm 540VP and we do not even use a laminate on the vinyl. We have one cup that has probably been through the dishwasher at least 100 times and looks no different than when it was first printed.

Another thing we have done is put the vinyl on both sides of some corrocated plastic but we cut a hole in the middle of the plastic and put a magnet in the middle between the vinyl and use for a barrel rest for trap shooting.
