I was wondering what is the best heat transfer vinyl cutter to buy and the cheapest to bye...

USCUTTER MH-871

or what is less in price?

at least that can cut 2 1/2 - 3 feet in width or somewhere around that.......

If you're planning to use your cutter mainly with heat press transfer images, then you need to go with the cutter that has an optical eye which will allow you to print from your inkjet printer then it will cut the contour around the image that you print. Roland has this type of cutter, I believe the GX-24 is the smallest one they make that you can feed up to 24" width of materials. There are some cutters also out there that will allow you to print and cut directly from one machine, but with the price that you're looking for, it may not be for you, I thought I throw it in anyway for you to think about since you will be investing on equipment anyway. Goodluck!

What cutter is better?

Roland CAMM-1 GX-24 24" or Roland GX-24 <-- The Same Or Not?

Roland stika sx-15 or Roland Stika Cutter SV-15 <---The Same or Not?

Will the cheaper one cut like the gx 24?

I am looking 2 do jobs specifically for Heat transfer cut out with a optical eye.

The stika is much smaller, and it doesn't have an optical eye.
The SX uses a parallel connection, the SV is USB
The Stika is around 1k. For the extra money, it's worth it to get the GX-24.
The GX cuts very well!
Yes the Camm 1 GX-24 and the Roland GX-24 are the same thing.....

I personally have the GX-24. Roland CAMM-1 GX-24 24" or Roland GX-24 are the same machine, and like I mentioned, with the function that you want to do, this seems to be the correct equipment for you. I know stika is a desktop version that roland release. I don't know much about stika so I don't have much to say about it, I would go to roland website and compare both, website is www.rolanddga.com. When we first thought about bringing cutter in-house, our main purpose is to serve our small orders with it, but now, we pretty much use it to anything that we can use it for and further expand in sign vinyl and we are now in process of bringing wide format printer to expand more in digital signs. I thought of sharing this to you to hopefully further help you with decisions that you will make in your equipment investment.
