Default Cabling issue
We've been using an old Roland PNC1100 plotter forever, it used to cut rubylith for election sign work, and now it cuts names and numbers from Thermofilm. The old Mac we were running it on has finally given up the ghost. So we need a new cable, DB25 male to USB, to connect the plotter to a newer Mac. Does anyone know if I need something extra specific, or will any cable with those specs do the job? Thanks,

I have a Keyspan USB>Parallel adapter and it works fine, I tried a cheaper generic one before without success.
