Ok, so I've just bought the SV-12 and have followed every instruction on how to install the driver, but it's giving me, the driver cannot be found. Is there some other way to install the driver? what do I do?

Unfamiliar with this piece of equipment, however here's how I generally troubleshoot drivers:
First restart after driver has been installed, in case it is a driver that needs to be resident at OS startup. I'm sure you've probably restarted like 3-4 times, but figured I'd toss it out there.
Second, be sure your equipment is turned on, then plug it in and hopefully it'll be detected by the operating system. If it is an old Serial or Parallel port device, you will have to use a bit of faith to ensure that it is recognized. If it is USB, you should see the "New hardware detected", followed by the device type, and if nothing else appears, it's assumed to be working. If you receive "Unknown hardware", then tell it to find the driver automatically, since you installed it should locate the appropriate drivers and INF's in the Windows folder automatically.
If you still are unable to find it, mot plotters show up under Printers and Faxes, check there to see if it's listed, if it isn't, go to your computer's Device Manager (right click My Computer, go to Properties, go to Hardware, go to Device Manager). See if there are any unknown devices listed there, if there is, delete it, power down the plotter, then power it up again.
