Default Glass blocks

I need some help, I want to get some glass blocks and I did find some at Hobby Lobby that can be used to put the lights in but they are expensive and I found some at lowes but they don't have the hole in them, my questions is:

Do you know where I can get the pre cut blocks wholesale?
Is it hard to drill a whole in the solid ones to make it a bank?
Has anyone decorated any glass blocks if so can you post some pics?

Basically You would need a pillar drill with carbide tips drill on very low revolutions, constant water dripping on bit and expect a failure rate of about 25% if you're lucky.

It might be wiser to contact a specialized glazier and see if they could do it for you.

Are you using the glass block for sandblasting? If so, try just blasting a hole in it .

I took mine to a local glass shop (they do custom-cut mirrors, bathroom glass, etc) and said "I need a .5" hole HERE" and paid them $5/block to do it for me. I stuffed them with LED twinkle lights, used them through the Christmas season for on-site display, then sold them to one of my last venues for about 2x what I paid for them. I figure that this worked so well I can just do it again next (this) year if I want to.
