The CE5000-60 looks excellent to me, but I am wondering if I should be open to buying the CE3000-60... I read that it does not have optical registration unless it's the CE3000Mk2? I guess I need to skip over CE3000's since I want optical registration?
In case I find an Mk2 -- does anyone know about differences between Mk2 and the CE5000? One post I read on this forum said they are almost identical?
they are pretty much the same, ones just a lil newer.
u should be able to get the 3000 with the arms system since it is an option for most of theyre machines.
if not look at signwarehouse's vinyl express cutters they are basicly the same machine but a little cheaper and they offer the arms as an option as well
Well I am wondering if I should buy a used CE3000 from someone. Then buy an ARMS upgrade if it's available. I'm thinking skip the CE3000 unless it is Mk2 and maybe even skip it if it's Mk2, I don't want a worse machine to just save a little.
Hey 527... Jason... and anyone else reading... could you advise me a bit more on the Q130 if you know these things? That one you pointed on eBay is interesting to me but I am wondering if I should bid on it and how much.
It has the stand and power cord but no original box, dvd's, manual, etc with it. Will I miss any part terribly, I hope not? Also no warranty if I buy this one. I looked at signwarehouse's site and normally this Q130 comes with gold squeeges, rolls of vinyl, roll of banner material, r-tape sample pack, estimate software, sign power clipart, video about vinyl application, clipart CD's, and VE LXi Master™ Software. If I can buy or download the manual I figure I should go for it?
But I would value it a little less since it has no software with it. This seller said he didn't know what parts might be missing from the item either, would I maybe get a nasty surprise that some thing is missing - does it use a hardware key or other key? He would be willing to check on parts for me if I told him what to look for.
Also this cutter might have been transported already without having its head locked into place -- how likely is it have damage if it was transported like this? And I am wondering if it doesnt have the factory screw to lock the head in place, if I can just tape it into place when I transport it to my location?
