3 meters, thats like 10 ft
we just did some 15 ft no problem
we use a Weber unwind, they are alittle pricey but get it and your done.
I have seen some portable thing with a handle on it and holds the roll of tape. then you just roll it along (they make it look easy at the trade shows)
you just need to unwind the material level with some tension on it (tension is important) then squeege it down
I generally lay the cut vinyl out on a table, start the transfer tape on the table about an inch off the backing paper, but also catch the backing paper with the tape, then i use an empty cardboard tube from old transfer tape and roll it behind the transfer tape to unroll and press onto the vinyl...does that make sense? Works great 99% of the time, sometimes it gets a little off track if I have not lined it up straight.

Yup that's the simple way of doing it.
I've got a homemade tape holder that I made attached to my weeding table and just apply the tape to the table and backing paper then press it down with my hand moving towards the tape holder.
