OK, 1st post on this site and I'm sorry that it has to be a plea for help, I am designing in Corel draw 13 and then importing images into Signblazer and cutting on a Pcut 735.
I have had no problems with anything until recently when I cut things I am not getting clean cuts, all the corners seem to have a overlyexxagerated protuding curve, for example the inside of a V will have a small circle cut out where the twon lines meet instead of a clean cut where the two downward lines meet, and the outside angles of letter have protuded semicircles instead of a clean angle.
Is this a setting that I have changed? Please help as its driving me crazy.
hmmmm im using sign blazer and never had this problem,i installed the software and learned on my own messing with things different buttons and stuff.i can say maybe you can just reset the settings back to default,or if not you can do a practice letter from the text like you said v messed up on you.try and select cut after you select your letter thn mess with the cutter settings see what happens, the worst that would happen is you probly have to reinstall the software after you delete it,cause it should turn back to the default settings...hope this helped...
Thats a good idea, I honestly had not thought of uninstalling SignBlazer and re-installing it.... I think I may have figured it out, It's possibly the blade offset function. I just have to find out what it should be for the PCut.
I really like the PCut... but then I have little to compare it against... Ours has tantrums every now and again where the laptop wont recognise it, but all you do is unplug it and plug it back in. I really like the way it cuts on really small scraps of vinyl, so you get the most out of a roll.
I think the problem is solved now, The blade offset setting had been adjusted to high. Fingers crossed that it will work fine from now on.
