Hi all,
I'm really sorry if this has been asked before. I've just spent an hour having a look through previous posts but didn't come across anything that answered my question.
Anyways, I've been looking at printable vinyl and came across some that can be printed on with solvent inks and some that can be printed on with pigment ink.
Solvent ink printers cost the earth and I can't afford one at the moment, but I've found some reasonably cheap (£150 GBP/$220 USD) Epson printers that use Durabrite inks. Is this kind of ink good enough for printing of vinyl that will take pigment inks? Will it also print on the vinyl that will take solvent ink?
On the same note, is it possible to get solvent printers for the same kind of price?
Cheers
Kat
