Default leaking ink while moving my vp540

vp540 seller didn't drain all ink before moving.
ink was all over in my car from dischared ink drain bottle after I moved.
how do I check if there is internal component or head damage.

should I just reinstall cartridge and test it?

the ink leaking out is because they did not flush the lines prior to moving. Install your cartridges and do a head cleaning or two and then run a few prints. That will tell you if everything is good. I had this happen when we moved our unit and everything came out just fine.

Yes, just try it.
Methylated spirits should get rid of a lot of the ink.
