There are tons of tutorials on the internet. Just type in "illustrator cs4 tutorials". alot of them will be on youtube. one thing you might want to do is just start playing around with it. when you get stuck and dont know how to do it, find a tutorial for it. illustrator is a very diverse program with heaps of tools. don't get frustrated if your not a pro with it in a month or two. it takes time.
