I appreciate everyones help on here lately and I have another question. What can the sign vinyl be applied to? Can it go on painted surfaces, cars, windows, wood, metals, license plates, paper? I see many applications for this vinyl cutter, but I am not sure if I need a different type of vinyl for every different application, or if the sign vinyl works on all these things. Thanks!

Yes all that will work, except for the paper, im not sure, i never tried it.

A standard vinyl works great for most everything. If the item is for short term, look into removable vinyl.

I used both oracal 651 and 751 for this. Isn't this great!

Just make sure that the substrate is clean and dust free where you're sticking the vinyl.
