I just got one in the beginning of Jan. I like it, but don't have quite everything figured out yet-been busy with other orders that need to get done before I play with the new machine did you buy the 30" (i did) or the 52"?

congrats... i love my versacamm too. just not enough time in the day to play with it and experiment like i want too.

I ordered the 30 inch model because of space limitations......am looking forward to figuring this thing out......they said a tech will come a few days after delivery and set it up and give the training.....will have someone else here for extra "ears".....lol.

Let us know what questions you have. It has a learning curve to it but not as bad as some equipment. Have fun and get printing!

Congratulations! I agree with everybody, You will love that printer, and pretty soon, you might want a wider printer. That's a nice problem to have,

Takes a few days to get use to and figuring out R.i.p but easy machines to run and barely should have issues with it

I will let you folks know when it arrives (probably at the end of the week?).....set up should be next week then......am going to have another printer with me when they come to set it up and do the training.....better to have more ears and eyes there......

Versaworks 3.0 is all you will ever need for RIP software. It is very robust and can handle anything you throw at it.

I will be using the VersaWorks w/ this machine......don't really think I will need anything else.

Machine will be here tomorrow and install and training is set for next Monday afternoon...tech that is coming said he will have plenty of time to show me everything and will answer any ??s that I will have....also told me to keep his cell phone # handy in case I run into anything else I might have ??s with. He said he will also bring some extra vinyl with him so I can do some "playing" with it and won't have to "eat" up the vinyl that comes w/ the machine.
FedEx freight called today to set up the delivery with me.....and said they will also be having a couple extra guys come to meet the freight driver, since they don't offer drop gate service but only a couple times a month here.....now to talk them into bringing it into the shop....hmmmm, what kind of cookies do FedEx drivers like? LOL

Will let ya know when I am up and running...

VW is all you will need : )

Some people have upgraded to OnYX because has bette color management to it but its a waste
I personally use SAi "FlexiSign" rip alot for banners ect. because its a little faster when printing
