welcome!
i own a copam CP 2500.
i purchased it over a year ago and i had no major problems so far.
in fact, i believe i made a very good choice.
the only thing that bothers me is that i have to use 24 inches wide rolls of vinyl if a must cut a 10 feet long graphic, because the traking performance is not outstanding, in my opinion (but i understand that even roland and graphtecs have this problem sometime).
24 inch rolls are pretty rare over here.
besides that, it is a very good machine and yes, it can cut very fine details, a symbol, or a short word that coul be fitted on fingernail, if you absolutely must to.
but i believe all cutter-plotters could do that...
copam has a stepper motor, which is less accurate than servo motors (like roland, graphtec, GCC etc).
what do you need it exactly for, if i may ask?
I am in nail supply business and have several needs for vinyl sign. but the main focus will be able to cut custom nail decal, such small so they can be applied onto one nail. I also looked at Roland GX-24 and Graphtec 5000, but they are twice as costly.
I also like small graphics and when i did get to use my cutter...... lol I bought a xray light to put the vinyl on to see the lines of the cut worked great for me
