Default now doing poly twill applique in house

Just purchased twill stitch pro works fine. we have 2 questions
1- How do you stop and trim after placement stitch
2-can you change where placement stitch starts and ends just to make it easier to place twill.

Any other tips would be appreciated.

Default Re: now doing poly twill applique in house

Tim, I haven't figured out a way to do that in TSP, maybe someone else will?

I usually change every piece of artwork to a different color, then convert each of them to appliques seperately. This way it usually doesn't overlap the colors for the final satin stitch of 1 piece and the outline stitch of the next piece... After I have all of the pieces in different colors and converted to applique, I save it as a .PES file, then open it up in PE-Design since I'm more familiar with it. In PE-Design, I change all the placement stitches to 1 color, all the tackdowns to a 2nd color and all the satin stitches to the final color. I then regroup the individual pieces so all the outlines are together, all the tackdowns are together and the final satin stitches are together. My PR600's have a button that tells the machine to stop at the end of a color so I use that to make it stop at the appropriate points.
