Applicatoin tape roller? Need Help FINDING - brilliant invention
Hey guys,
i was at a sign supply place yesterday and i saw this brilliant invention, its an application tape roller, what happens is you put your sticker into it and just turn the handle and it automatically applies the application tape to your vinyl... great for if you dont have a lot of space to work and for those really long stickers.
what are they called? and where can i find cheaper ones - ebay etc... they have them but they cost $900AU

here is a link to "the big squeegee" which can be used for applying mask or lamination.
I don't own one of these but I've heard it works good. Reasonable prices also.

I use a big squeegee, works pretty decent, although I was using crappy work tables before (primarily cheapy plastic tables that started to bow in the middle). Make sure you have a nice flat surface for the big squeegee, otherwise you'll get wrinkles or even a gap/big air bubble between your tape and the material. . Prior company I worked for had a thing made of a few C clamps and cylinders that attached to the end of the table, so you'd just pull to the end of your graphic, adhere down, squeegee, then cut off the roll.
