does anyone know if i can use heat applied vinyl on a hats that are 83% acrylic,12% spandex and 5% cotton? if so,what product to use? if not, is there any other process i can use?

I have tried a couple items on 100% acrylic (flock and film) they have not turned out so well the fabric gets "mashed" and "glossed over" and it does not seem to come back
But I would like to ask where you found the hats with the material blend you have listed

well the hats dont have the same "napp" as a sweater, so i dont think the mashing would be a problem. did the vinyl that you used stick?... i bought the hats at a mall store named "lids" they have them in malls on the east coast. its one of those flex fit fitted caps.

I tried the Specialty Materials film and it did seem to stick and I "think" I tried flock awhile back and depending on if there is enough surface contact it should stick.
this was on the acrylic type beanie hats that most of the suppliers carry, they definitly were not sellable, looked pretty bad
