Anyone know how to turn this font in the pictureinto a font i can use in corel draw?
Also if not can anyone make this font so i can use it in corel draw? I want to cut it with signcut like I normally do my 12" jersey numbers. I would be willing to pay a little bit thru paypal for your time.
I do not need it contoured i know how to do that myself. I have examples of all the numbers and letters just cant find a matching font i think it may be custom
You still have to create the individual letters and numbers but if you place them in your boxes on the template, it will create the font for you that you can use on the computer.

Creating a font is very time consuming to do it right. I created my own font similar to what the Dallas Mavericks use, numbers and letters, and it took a lot of time. Here's what it looks like.
I could probably do it for you, but it's probably not worth my time and your money.
I second that is not worth making it a font - we used to use fontographer years ago and it would take forever to actually create each letter (since you only have 2 numbers you would have to dream up how the other look) and number and symbol then you have to set how each kerns to the different letters and when you were done days later you could find a free font and change it faster - just trace it and move on
Thanks for all the great advice. I have an example of all the numbers for the font i do not need the letters just the numbers am very new to this how do I change the nodes????

If you are using Corel X3 or X4 the tool is right below the pick tool in the tool bar is the shape tool. Click the shape tool and then click the object you want to edit and the nodes will show. Click and drag the node you want to change the shape.
You can also find in the help dropdown menu. Click index after you click help then select help topics. In the input box type the word node and you will see all kinds of topics in the dropdown list about nodes.
BTW before you can change the shape of a font you have to convert it first to curves. Otherwise you would not be able to change the shape. Again there are plenty of information in the help menu in converting an object to curves.
You can also see guides on how to use shape tool in the hints tool. If hints tool is not in the docker window tabs click help then select hints. Otherwise click on the hints tab in the docker window. The hints will show in the docker window. It helps guide you with examples of any tool you pick.
I change fonts most of the time to meet customer requirements. It is not that hard if you only do what you need and not do the font set.
Another option is to import the bitmap image and then use the trace tool with line option. Make sure the delete the original check box is not selected. After trace is done ungroup the trace, change the view to wireframe then delete unwanted traces such as border line. Use the shape tool and original as a guide to fine adjust the trace to conform with the original. Sometimes the lines are jagged. You can smooth out some by reducing the number of nodes using reduce number of nodes tool. The rest has to be done individually. Finally change the display to normal and then delete the bitmap.
But it is much quicker if you start with a font close enough to the bitmap, convert the font to curves then change the shape with the shape tool.
If you need more help send me PM.

If you want to send me pictures of all the #'s, I'll give it a shot, but wouldn't charge anything. I kind of like the numbers too, and may use them at some point. They look pretty simple.
A million thanks go out to Rusty that's some amazing work and so fast I only hope someday that I too will be half as good with this stuff I just got my cuter earlier this year and am trying to teach myself little by little. Believe me it is much easier with the help you the fine people on this forum. Best forum out there by far in my opinion
This is a discussion about how to turn this into a font to use in corel that was posted in the Vinyl Cutters (Plotters) and Transfers section of the forums.
