Hello ,
i just got my Roland sp300 my questions is how long does it take to get some one out here to set this thing up? being a car builder i want to put it up and start runnign with it but after what i went thew to man handle this monster in the house alone with no lift equipment i figure the company could do somthing .. any info would be great
I bought my sp300 used up in Northern Wisc. I brought it home and started reading the manual. I now have a pretty good idea of how to run. It took a while to get things on my own but it all works real nice. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Wow! you must be strong if you got it into the house by yourself. Me & a friend moved mine in & even then it was quite a chore after we uncrated it in the driveway. In my area there was only one Roland rep for quite a large area (province) so I am assuming it would be the case per state as well. I would call Roland or where you bought it from & ask who the setup rep is & call them to find out approx when they will be coming. It was around a week after for me.
My supplier delivered and installed it
Took 3 big italian guys to get up tight stairs Lol but set up took like 15 Min or so and like 5 min to learn to use it.
Pretty much like a regular printer but bigger and a few odds and ends you will learn over time.
Manual on the thing is pretty good but alot of trial and error
Sean is right on the trial and error but there are w few places to go and get training beyond what the install will provide. Depending on who does the install it can make a huge difference if they actually know anything about the garment industry and materials to use. Who did you get the machine from? If you are looking for training after the install, let me know via PM and I can send you some info.
I was able to get it threw inprintables with a friends advice i almost bought a t-jet but she brought me to the light . and yes i got in up the stairs in my house alone 3 hours and 30 degree weather was not fun the wooden crate broke half way up the stairs and stabed my knee so now it looks like i have a soft ball in my jeans not to mention that was a beast of weight just incase you wonding how i did it lol.. i picked up the front half and set it up on 2x4's going up the stairs and got behind it with a 2x4 using it like a pry bar agnst the crate hince the 3 hours then a comberlong across the door jam to pull it in i'm just glad i got the small one. thanks for all the help i will be calling them on a monday ..i was just un happy with the shippers with all my stuff they pushed to the end of the trailer and was like here you go lol but the fed-x guy was nice enough to help me push it into my truck then i had to unload the crate from my truck alone lol never agin
Wow Gary, you da man! It took 3 of us to get my SP300 in the house and up the stairs. It took tech about a week to get out here to do the installation and training.
